Zoo!

I just checked and there hasn't been a zoo post on the blog since March! We are way overdue! A new carousel has been in the works at the zoo for awhile and we've been eagerly anticipating the moment we would get to ride it! That day finally came last week. The kids had fun choosing which animal to ride (Owen chose a cheetah, Paige initially chose the elephant but switched to an Anatolian shepherd puppy) and then afterwards we went to the new play area that is adjacent to the carousel. They would have spent all their time there but I really felt like we should see some live animals before we left so we checked out the baby giraffe that was born a couple weeks ago. It was satisfyingly adorable.
