It's My Birthday!

But I can't show you how excited I am because our computer broke. Other than that (and possibly losing 8 months of pictures) today was great! I'll have to find some new hobbies while it's being fixed...maybe I'll take up napping.

Feasting

We just got back from the Feast a little bit ago. We did what we do there every year. Eat. A lot. Yum.

Cookies and a Party

I forgot to put a picture of these cookies up that Mom and I made a week ago! They were Zucchini Chocolate Chip and they were really really good. They sort of tasted like muffins and I think we finished ours in about a day. I also snuck the leftover shredded zucchini into some pancakes for Owen and luckily you couldn't taste a difference (I checked) because I was feeling pretty bad about the possibility of ruining perfectly good pancakes with a vegetable.

This is a picture of Owen and friends at a birthday party for another (unpictured) friend from a couple weeks ago. This is as close as they get to interacting with each other.

At the Fair!

We finally made it to the Cuyahoga County Fair! I've been trying to go every year since we've been on the westside and it never happened until now! Some highlights...

Pat talked about how badly he wanted a funnel cake at the fair and then we got there and he accidentally ordered an elephant ear. Good thing it was still tasty.

Owen wanted to hold all the bunnies.

Hilarious

This is me, Jamie and "Las Vegas Sherry." I came across this picture while trying to find an embarassing picture of Jamie after she so brazenly suggested there weren't any to be found. Interestingly enough she was right. Or maybe I looked more embarassing in them then she did so I didn't want to put one up. Maybe. Anyway, this picture made me laugh really hard when I saw it because of all the awkwardness involved. It's a little blurry but you can see the important parts.

1. Las Vegas Sherry and I look like someone is making us pose and we refuse to be happy about it.
2. Jamie looks totally normal but the distance between her and Las Vegas Sherry is funny because it seems to say "Okay, I will smile but there is no way I will stand close enough for our arms to touch."
3. Simply typing Las Vegas Sherry makes me laugh.
I should mention that my memories of Las Vegas Sherry are all positive (or I don't remember any so at least there aren't any negative ones) so I don't know what the deal with this picture was. Ok, I could go on but I won't. I wonder if I'll still think this is funny tomorrow.
