Eat Something You've Never Had Before...

Spaghetti Squash! Mmm, right? I should say that I have a vague memory of trying to make this in the past and it not coming out very tasty which is why I thought I should give it another chance.

Sometimes getting a recipe off the internet isn't a good idea...This one called for broccoli, chicken, spaghetti sauce, and spaghetti squash...What could go wrong?


Yes, it was as disgusting as it looked so we scooped out all the offending squash and ended up with this...



Here's Pat helpfully confirming that this was a disgusting dinner!

Fun with the camera!

It's snowing outside. I worry about what we will do with our wintery days while we are stuck inside. Today Owen and I played "photobooth" with the camera. You press the button and it takes a picture every 5 seconds or something. Quite fun but Owen didn't understand the concept and mostly stared at the camera until it stopped flashing.

I made an apple pie! And we've had it for dinner the past two nights!!!


Our poor sick and teething baby! Owen's favorite new toy is the Orajel box, too bad the medicine doesn't actually work for him! This picture was taken after he had been up for an insane amount of time. You can see how tired he is but he still refused to sleep. He's still smiling though!


I spotted a four-leaf clover in Pat's cereal!

Learn to Crochet

This is me trying to crochet. I thought I could find easy directions on the computer but the directions were either really confusing or I'm really horrible at crocheting!

Owen's Footprints and Handprint

Here are Owen's footprints and one handprint. He didn't quite understand the concept of opening his hand up to get a good handprint so that part was cut short. After 3 or 4 tries we managed to get a good footprint though!

A grindstone! Its grinding days are over though, it's stuck in the ground and being used as a lawn decoration. Personally, I think a garden gnome would add a little more personality.
