Memorial Day

By the time Memorial Day rolled around we had had such a long, tiring weekend but we didn't want to miss the parade! We got there just in time (like usual) and ran into some friends who had found a shady spot to sit. This is a pretty somber parade so there wasn't any candy and the high school band was in a different city so the parade was even shorter than usual! We stopped at the firehouse after and then went home for lunch and to do some yard-work. The pool was free the whole weekend so we did some swimming and then went home and worked on the mulch in the front yard. Phew!
