We went on our annual New Year's Day hike and it was super snowy and super cold and so it was a super awesome trip! We were going to go to the nature center to hike but one of the kids thought to add sledding to our itinerary so the location changed. I got a little pouty about it because changing plans is not something I'm super good at, even though I'm always telling the kids they need to be flexible. So I pouted, and Paige had such a joyous, wonderful attitude that she brought me back around and we all enjoyed every moment.
