Happy New Year! I'm going to talk about what we did on the first day of 2016 and then I'll go way back to Christmastime and catch up on all the old posts! The kids had two weeks off for break so we did a lot of stuff. We started off the day with the kids sleeping in later than every before! Owen was up at 10 and Paige followed soon after. We relaxed for awhile and then headed out for our annual New Year's Day hike! This was the 4th year we've done it and the first year we went somewhere new. We brought some hand warmers with us to stave off the cold but after getting lost in the woods for awhile our toes felt like ice cubes and we were running to the car!
