Our last day in New York was just filled with whatever we still had left on our list to see. It was a lot of walking and people were starting to be tired of walking but we powered through and saw parts of the city we hadn't been to yet. We started with bagel sandwiches at Ess-a-bagel. The food was yummy and we actually found a table to eat at so that was nice! Then we headed over to the Harry Potter Store. It was crowded but still so neat to walk through. The details that were put into everything was amazing and I wish I had a reason to buy a bunch of stuff! We had basically just finished breakfast but decided we needed to get some Butterbeer while we were there.
The Washington Square Arch was also on our list and we enjoyed it there for a little bit...the people watching was great and there were so many different things happening but we decided to move on when a guy tried to take money from a piano player and ended up getting rowdy.
Our big plan of the day was to go see the Statue of Liberty but we pulled the plug on that when we got to the boarding area for the Staten Island Ferry. We decided we were good seeing it from far away and moved on to see the 9/11 Memorial. Then we went back to Little Italy for lunch. It was so so expensive but delicious. Paige and I split ravioli and I calculated that each ravioli on the plate cost $5!! That was definitely our most expensive meal of the trip!!
We did a lot more walking around and then stopped at Anita Gelato on the walk home. This place was the best. It had a cute atmosphere and was so so good, I loved it!!
The kids were done with all the walking so we went to the hotel and then Pat and I went out one more time to see Grand Central Station before we went to sleep and headed for home early the next morning!
