I'm realizing now that this is pretty out of order because Owen did have a soccer game on the first day of school but his actual first game (pictured below) was the week before school started! Owen is a starter on Varsity this year and it's been so fun to watch him play already. They won their first game 4-0 so that added to the excitement too. The only snag was at the beginning when they were announcing the starters, who then got to run out on the field to join their team, and they forgot to say Owen's name!! He ran out anyway so it was not a huge deal but kind of funny!
