A birthday during quarantine isn't as much fun as being able to see your friends and family to help you celebrate so we wanted to find another way to make the day feel extra special for Paige. About a week before they day, I texted people and put up a Facebook post asking anyone who was interested to send Paige a video wishing her a happy birthday. People delivered! We got so many videos! Family, friends, teachers and even pets! We showed Paige the video early in the day and she loved it and was so surprised. I was so touched that so many took the time to make a video that I cried! Paige originally requested a cassata cake but then decided she wanted to make her own cake and just wanted cake with funfetti frosting. She did a great job, it was delicious!
For lunch, Paige wanted to pick up smoothies from Pulp so we called our order in and grabbed some clorox wipes and hand sanitizer for the trip out. Then we had lunch and Paige opened her presents. She had a little bit of schoolwork to do that day but we still had time to play tag outside, have ravioli for dinner and watch a movie of her choice-Frozen 2.
