We made plans to start the New Year with some friends and ended up there fairly early for having a late night. The kids ran around and acted crazy and the adults got to talk and play board games. We all tried out their hover board too. Some of us were more successful than others:)
Later in the day, we made sure to do our New Year's Day hike! We just barely fit it in before it started raining but otherwise we had chilly but decent weather. We forged our own path through the woods and went down to the water, which everyone agreed looked disgusting! We had a ton of fun though!
