Yay my favorite race!! I love the River Run and I love it even more on the years I'm training for a marathon because by that point in my training I've already ran more than 13 so it doesn't feel as hard as other years. Still not easy though! We had beautiful weather and I got a PR of 1:52! And that was even with stopping to take a picture of my favorite bird (see pic below!). Pat was stuck on a bus trying to come meet me when I crossed the finish line so I like to say I beat him there:)
