Turn It Up Dance Challenge!

Another competition weekend! This time we were in Detroit at a competition we had never attended called Turn It Up Dance Challenge! Paige had to miss school on Friday to drive up and perform her solo Friday which was unfortunate but I don't think she was too upset about it:) It was nice to start the competition with only one dance the first day and to get the most stressful dance done with! Paige performed so beautifully that all three judges decided to bump her solo up to the elite level and she ended up placing 13th among all the teen soloists! It was such an awesome way to start the weekend!! Saturday we got to sleep in and take our time. Paige performed production, duo and her large lyrical that she dances with the older elite team. It was another awesome day because all of the dances did well but we were especially excited that her duo placed second amongst all teen duos/trios!! We got done at the competition around 11 and we were set on making the girls go right to sleep but somehow they convinced us to stop and get some Crumbl cookies. The next day was rough because we lost an hour of sleep due to the time change and we had to be at the competition by 7am. Paige had 10 dances to perform in a span of maybe 2.5 hours...? I was so impressed with their dancing, they looked great and their dances scored well! It was an exhausting but fun weekend.
