Camera Roll Randomness

Paige's training group! We never really go inside to watch the kids dance anymore so it's fun to get glimpses of what's happening in the studio, even if it is just pictures I grab off of Instagram!

Everyone is rhinestoning dance costumes at home this year so I started setting up and Griffin thought that was a great time to get comfortable.

Here's a glimpse of Paige's jazz/funk costume

The boys got long overdue haircuts!

Paige wanted to show us her ending pose for her lyrical dance!

Pulp smoothies to celebrate a day off of school!

Valentine's Day!

Ah, remember the days when I would have the kids pose for a cute Valentine's Day picture together? The last one I can find is from 2018, but there were many! Well this is literally the only picture I took of them for the holiday this year and I didn't bother to put a filter on it to make it less dark. They still get little mailboxes filled with surprises (this year was strawberry granola bites, strawberry sour gummies and a water filled fidget toy). I didn't make any themed meals though, which I missed, so maybe next year! Paige had a five hour chunk of dance in the middle of the day so we celebrated in the evening with some blizzards and a movie!

Museum Date

It's been awhile since I've done a post and that's because we've had absolutely nothing new going on for awhile! It's been a very long time since Pat and I have gone on a date (last one on the blog was April 2019 but I think we grabbed a meal without kids somewhere in there) so we were overdue. We decided to keep it simple and went to the art museum! We also saw the special exhibit, Stories from Storage, which was really interesting and even less busy than the rest of the museum. The nice thing about the museum is that it's so big that it's very easy to avoid getting close to anyone!

Random Moments

Owen still has virtual school on Fridays and he was chosen as student of the day for ELA last week which means instead of saying "here" for roll, everyone says "Hi Owen!" when their names are called and it was hilarious!

I tied a milk ring to Owen's birthday balloon to entertain Griffin and he grabbed the ring in his mouth and walked over to the hallway and then held it in his paw and it was adorable. I wish I had a video of it!

Griffin tried to sleep while I was taking pictures of him. I love when he stretches out his paw!

Paige got to the top of the (warped?) wall and surprised herself!
