Sometimes you just get tired from shopping and need to lie on the cement. Am I right?



Indian's Game (Again!)

We went to another Indian's game and had an entirely different experience than we did the first time! This was a night game and involved free food so Paige was tired and Owen was pretty focused on what he was going to eat next instead of actually watching the game (ok...me too...). We did have fun but left early and I have no idea who won the game!

Owen thinks nachos with cheese are quintessential ballpark food.
I'm pretty sure we have his Uncle Alex to thank for that!



I'm 30!

I am officially 30! Yay! Pat did everything he could to make sure I had a great birthday weekend so I really enjoyed myself. We spent the morning at the westside market getting tasty food (fresh pasta! plums! avocado! flavored popcorn! should have bought an apple fritter!) and then took a walk later in the day to go buy stuff for my birthday cake (lemon! yum!).

We worried about how Paige would do on this carnival ride. She loved it. Loved it.

Paige munched on lemons for a lot of the time, Owen had cavatelli and Jamie ate ravioli! Lemonade and gelato (chocolate and peach mango) were also thoroughly enjoyed.

Oh. Blog!

This poor blog has been seriously neglected lately! My normal blogging time has been taken over by running, runs which are getting longer and longer every week leaving me less time to myself in the morning. I need to become a late-night blogger instead. I'll be doing some posts to catch up on what has been happening over here!
We finally got some family pictures taken! They were supposed to happen back in April but got put off because of a hockey game. We didn't plan on getting any individual shots of the kids but the photographer got a great one of Owen while we were trying to wrangle Paige. I felt a little bad for the photographer since she was pulling out all of her tricks to try and amuse Paige but it was pretty funny that Paige just looked at her like she was insane. Apparently Paige has a very sophisticated sense of humor and is not amused by fake sneezes and weird noises? Eventually she warmed up and we were able to get some good ones:)

Time for a Date!

We managed to get out for a date over the weekend! Look how excited we were! I don't have any pictures of the date in action but if there were any most of it would involve us stuffing our faces with yummy food from Brio.

Indian's Game!

We took Paige to her first Indian's game on Sunday (they lost...)! We made the mistake of taking Owen to his first game when he was a bit too young and I don't think we lasted more than an inning. Paige was a trooper though, despite the heat, and we made it through the whole game! Owen got to run the bases after the game and while we were waiting to get on the field he gave high fives to the ketchup and onion hot dogs. He was seriously disappointed about missing the mustard hot dog though!
