The Costume...

...that almost was. We thought Owen would prefer this getup but he chose to wear his bat again this year instead. The fireman costume went back to the store but we still enjoyed it for a brief moment:)

New Kitten!

Pat's sister, Lauren, stopped by last week to show us her new kitten, Milo! He was very cute and Owen was convinced that he was a mini Pierre (a neighbor's outdoor cat we used to see pretty often).

Halloween Party!

Owen was invited to a super fun Halloween party that we went to on Sunday. All the kids seemed to have a great time. There was a bouncy castle that Owen was obsessed with but we didn't get any good pictures because we were circling it the whole time trying to make sure he didn't fall out (we were unsuccessful but other people managed to catch him). They also thought of the great idea of scattering candy across the lawn and letting the kids fill bags. Really, the perfect activity for a whole lot of toddlers (preschoolers?)

The Zoo!

Ashley was in town from California so we met her at the zoo with her twin nephews and her sister! The boys had a lot of fun running around together and it was the perfect weather for being outside.

Whooloween!

I'm a bit behind on my postings so everything this week is going to be out of order! We went to Whooloween at Penitentiary Glen on Saturday night. It wasn't the best weather but we still enjoyed ourselves! We got to ride on a train and Owen participated in a costume parade!

I know this park has a real name but I'm not sure what it is. I love it though and with the fall colors it's even better.

My favorite part. Soooooo pretty but I could only convince Owen to walk to the dragonfly awning you see in the distance. We got much farther when Pat was there too so hopefully we can get there again while the trees are still colorful and before the weather gets too cold!

Downtown Trick or Treat

Our downtown had a Halloween celebration with trick or treating and we took Owen for some practice! We got him a new costume for this year but he wanted to wear his bat costume from last year instead!

Alone Time

So now that people know I'm pregnant I can tell fun stories like this...
I feel exhausted and nauseous a lot and so a few times (ok, a lot of times) I've had to explain to Owen that I don't feel very good and need to lie down. Sometimes he understands and other times he doesn't care. Tonight he was trying to convince me to turn on the tv for him and I told him that Daddy and I were almost done cleaning up dinner and we were both going to come play with him instead. He looked at me and said "No, Mommy doesn't feel good." And so I asked him if he wanted me to stay in the kitchen so he could play with Daddy by himself and he said "yes" and then ran out of the room. Awesome. Don't mind if I do...

More Hockey!

Apparently we are destined to be hockey fans this season! Pat got us some free tickets that we were able to use on Saturday. This game was at The Q, so it had some pretty flashy intros because they used all the features that are there for the Cavs. It was fun but we only made it through the first period and we found out later that they lost.
