My toasted peanut butter and jelly breakfast. That's a pumpkin shape cut out of the center...it's really obvious, right?

Yum? Yum.

Do you feel sort of sick knowing I ate this sweet goodness for breakfast? Because I do. Just a little. But it was totally worth it! Another good reason to institute 30 days of breakfast was to make these. I made them totally from scratch and baked them last night so I wouldn't have to get up early to do it. We had a scary moment last night when we taste tested one and it was not so great but somehow by this morning they were much much better. Yum.

Are You Ready for This?!

Because I'm not! I started a new round of 30 days of different breakfasts! Hopefully it will last since I sort of have no plans on what I'll be eating. Mostly I needed to do it so I would eat this grapefruit.

In more exciting news...Yea for Scott and Crystal! They're married! Woo hoo!

Learning With Pat

Pat kept me amused all day (without trying) but this was my favorite and I thought you would want to laugh too.

We were watching Elmo's World today with Owen and learning all about bananas. Elmo decided to see if a banana could peel itself and asked the audience if they thought it could. You know every kid watching shouted out loud "Noooo!" but here is what happened at our house...

Pat (in total seriousness): "I'm gonna bet it can"
Elmo (in a fit of giggles): "Noooooo! A banana can't peel itself!"
Pat: "Oh, I guess I'm more used to a myth-busters type show"

I Got a Haircut!

Doesn't it look nice?! Trust me, it looks better under the hood:) Don't let Owen fool you in this picture, he was having the best time ever!!! We were playing the "try to take a picture of Owen really fast before he notices and tries to steal the camera" game. I think he won.


Ok, he was having more fun here. And I won the game this time!

Here's a sneak peek of Owen in his Halloween costume! We wanted to try it out so we went for a walk and Owen loved it! Hopefully it goes this well on Halloween!

I Love Fall

It's a Video!

I've been trying to put up a video for awhile so hopefully this works. It was breakfast time and Owen was having fun with his bib. You can see him do some sign language. Also, he was eating some Apple Breakfast Kuchen (remember that stuff I made with the CoCo Wheats?!).

Orchard Time!

Yea! Every year we go to an apple orchard and buy pumpkins and get apples to make apple pie (except last year where we got lazy and bought a pie and found out that it is not nearly as tasty as homemade)!
