The next day we were finishing up our time in Nashville but we still had a couple things we wanted to do before we left. Number one was heading to a place called Biscuit Love for breakfast. We ended up walking and it took quite awhile but it was a great way to see the city. The city was so walkable and nice that I'd love to go back to Nashville and spend some more time there! The restaurant ended up being great but none of us could actually finish our food. We saw a giant wing mural and took some pictures and then we had one more stop! Nashville has a life-size replica of the Parthenon and we were soooo looking forward to checking it out. It ended up being closed because it was Monday (I swear we had checked the hours ahead of time but I guess we missed that info! We wandered around the outside of it anyway and found some more monuments/statues to check out in the giant park area that housed it all. We wrapped it up and got in the car to head to our next destination-Gatlinburg!
The kids were so excited to head to the cabin we were staying in for a couple of days. As soon as we pulled up to it, Pat got a text telling us that bear activity had increased in the last couple days and to be very careful going outside or cooking food outside as people had been approached by the bears! That was slightly terrifying but we were brave and unloaded everything quickly and locked ourselves in, luckily there was plenty to do inside for the night! :)
