Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving started with a snow storm but we were so thankful that everyone still made it over to celebrate with us! These pictures are in reverse order of the day so start at the bottom if you want!

Anniversary!!

 

Pat and I had such a great time celebrating our 22nd anniversary! In the afternoon we went for a hike and stumbled upon a farmer's market at Frostville. We know this market happens every weekend but we've never been and we were on a new trail and had no idea it would lead us there! We looked around and then I got some pierogis from a foodtruck and Pat got some roasted nuts! Later, we went for dinner at Thyme Table. It's a small place so you need reservations and luckily one opened up a day or two before. We got some drinks that we didn't enjoy but the food and dessert were so delicious!

Renaissance to Runway

 

Pat and I visited the art museum to check out their new exhibit- Renaissance to Runway, about art influencing fashion. I loved it so much and want to see more stuff like this in the future! Some of it was a stretch but it was neat to think about how Italian Renaissance art might have influenced Italian runway fashion.

Pumpkin Carving and Halloween!

 

These pictures are not in order but I won't be correcting them!

We carved pumpkins a couple days before Halloween and that was when we found out that the small, bumpy pumpkin I had picked was rock hard and impossible to carve! I assisted the kids though by scooping out pumpkin guts!

On Halloween we had our traditional donuts and cider, and ordered pizza for dinner.  Paige had a couple friends over to hang out and hand out candy and it was so fun just sitting around in the driveway with everyone. It was chilly though and we wished we had a fire, maybe next year!
