The plan was to celebrate with Pat's family on Christmas Eve...we cleaned, wrapped presents and made 3 soups and then Pat's brother tested positive for Covid that day so it all got cancelled! Pat and Paige kindly trekked out to their house to drop off soup and rolls and then when they got back we had a smaller family night with the four of us! We had made Cheesy Vegetable Chowder and Sausage Tortellini Soup (both of which we made last year) and then we also tested a new recipe for Slow Cooker Beef Stew, it was good but we do wish we had cut the beef into smaller pieces. We also made a Pull-Apart Crescent Christmas Tree which was the surprise hit for me, I didn't think I would like it as much as I did! After that we ate Christmas cookies and watched Glass Onion until it was time for bed!
