The Fourth of July parade was back this year! They made the route shorter and there were less people in it but it was still nice to have it back! Owen's friend has been volunteering with the veterans outreach program and asked Owen to help him hold the banner in the parade. We had lots of fun waiting and watching for him to appear. He couldn't hold the banner and throw candy but luckily everyone else in the parade were VERY generous. We were in a section that wasn't at all crowded and Paige was the only kid so she got a ton of candy! Another highlight was seeing the Wienermobile which I'd heard about but never seen in person. I have no idea why it was in our parade!
