Paige had been asking for awhile about taking Griffin to the pet store so when I got an email from Petsmart saying they would be having an event that involved a costume contest, pictures and treats I figured this was our chance! I don't think the store was actually expecting any cats to attend even though the email said specifically that cats were welcome. We coaxed Griffin out of his carrier and put on his harness and bat wings. He...didn't love the experience but he was pretty good about it anyway. He got a picture with the Petsmart mascot and got a bag of treats. The next day we got a call from the store that he had won "funniest costume" for dressing like a bat! We were ridiculously excited and proud of him;) I brought home his bag of rewards and got a video of him pulling everything out of the bag!
