I missed two years of running in my favorite half marathon but I finally made it back this year! My parents were injured and gifted me a race bib (Thank you!!) so I was running solo. There was some talk that the race could be canceled because the weather had been so bad. It was terribly cold, rainy, and windy the day before! I did not have the right gear for running in the rain so I had to borrow Owen's rain jacket and layer up! It ended up drizzling/misting the whole time but it wasn't super cold so all in all, still a good experience! I finished in 2:02:23, 15th out of 60 in my age group and 282nd overall out of 600something.
