Day 3 started early with a trip to Universal Studios-Islands of Adventure. We chose this one because it has Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. I had no idea what else there was to do until we got there! Pat's family met us there an hour or two later too. The kids were a little nervous about big coasters (remember Cedar Point??) but there was plenty to do even with skipping a few of the bigger spots. My favorite ride was Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey which was a little scary for Paige. Owen and Pat went on Poseidon's Fury while Paige and I were elsewhere and Owen got picked from the crowd to help! He got to hold up Poseidon's trident and run through to save everybody! We got some Butterbeer, which I had heard some mixed reviews on but we all loved and ate at Mythos for dinner based on a friend's recommendation. We thought the food there was fantastic and I'm so glad we stopped to eat! We packed peanut butter and jelly and a few snacks for lunch to save a little money but that meant we were eating on the go. Stopping for a meal gives you a much needed rest from the heat and walking! At the end of the day, Owen and I were waiting for everyone to get off the Spiderman ride (we had both ridden it earlier but Owen didn't love it) and we saw a worker holding up a sign pointing to where you could meet Spiderman. Owen thought it would be funny to ask him if he knew where "Spiderboy" was and he responded "Spiderboy is right over there." It was all very funny and Owen decided then that he would go meet Spiderboy which led to a great picture below:)
